The Uk RAF's Lightning F.Mk.6 interceptor features a traditional two vertically mounted motor design. Belated variation F.6 had been certainly designed with an upgraded engine and additional gas tanks on the wings. The Lightning undertook atmosphere defense solution for over 2 years, retiring in 1988.
