Called to Normandy

The Marder III M ended up being yesteryear of three German tank destroyer variants based on the captured Czechoslovak 38(t) tank, and sported a strong 7.5cm device in an open-top combat compartment. After the Allies forced on from their Normandy landings in June 1944, Marder III Ms had been on scene in a largely protective challenge against enemy armor.
