The original Panther
Widely regarded as being among the list of most useful German WWII armor designs, the Panther's story started using the Ausf.D variation. Panthers had exceptional survivability considering well sloped armor, impressive firepower from a 7.5cm weapon, and a 700hp motor supplying good freedom - actually an entire performance package. It debuted in crucial Battle of Kursk in July 1943 making a sudden impact, taking out fully enemy armor from range. Later on inside war, Ausf.A and Ausf.G variants was furthermore produced.
