This graphite front shock tower modifies BD9 suspension geometry by moving the shock pivot 1mm higher. That small change increases the shock's available upper travel, which reduces the likelihood of the damper hitting its stop during large roll or sudden wheel drops.
The tower focuses on tuning benefits: a slight leverage change softens the shock reaction at full compression and promotes a more controlled feel in high-speed corners. Use this upgrade when you want fewer hard bottoms while keeping your existing springs and damping setup.
Fitting is straightforward for BD9 owners experienced with chassis service. Remove the original tower with your hex driver and refit using the retained hardware; after installation, inspect shock shaft freeplay and adjust droop and ride height to suit your setup.
