The Hobbywing XRotor Micro 40A ESC, model number 30901015, is designed for pilots flying 130-300mm quads. It combines a 48MHz 32-bit ARM processor with high quality MOSFETs and ceramic capacitors and runs BLHeli_32 for stable control and efficient power delivery.
By using hardware PWM the XRotor Micro 40A offers crisp throttle response and low audible noise. The damped light mode enables regenerative braking for quicker motor slowdown and cleaner transitions.
BLHeli_32 lets you program and update ESCs using passthrough from flight controllers running Betaflight or Cleanflight, allowing batch parameter changes. The unit also includes temperature, low-voltage and current cut protections to reduce component stress.
The adjustable LED helps with orientation and status checks, while the beacon function activates a motor beep after a throttle timeout to help locate a lost model.
