Fine Tuning Downtravel with HUDY 107783

The HUDY 107783 droop gauge is a straightforward instrument for measuring suspension downtravel on 1/8 and 1/10 off-road vehicles. It makes it easier to dial in droop values without complex rigs or guesswork.

Quick Measurement Method

To use, rest the gauge on the shock nut at the tower and read to the center of the shock-to-arm screw using the integrated ruler. This gives a reliable, repeatable reference for tuning both sides of the car.

Precision Machined for Longevity

Produced from CNC-machined aluminium and finished in black, the gauge features laser-engraved scales on both sides for clear visibility. The sturdy manufacturing ensures it keeps accurate markings over many sessions.

Wide Compatibility for Off-Road Machines

This droop gauge works with most 1/8 and 1/10 off-road buggies and truggies, and is useful for tuners who need consistent downtravel settings to improve cornering balance.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some HUDY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 8-12 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The gauge is designed to sit on typical shock tower nuts used on 1/8 and 1/10 off-road cars. Very unusual nut sizes may require an adapter or different reference point.
Laser-etched scales on both faces improve contrast, but having good pit lighting will always help with precise readings at night or indoors.
The droop gauge is a compact measuring tool for downtravel. It does not replace a full setup station for camber, toe, or ride height checks, but it is a handy complement.
Check droop when you change springs, shock oil, or after significant impacts. Quick checks between mains can help keep handling consistent as track conditions evolve.
