The Tamiya 95130 Neo-VQS Japan Cup 2020 is a limited-run Mini 4WD that blends collector appeal with practical tuning room. Its transparent polycarbonate body is ready for custom paint work and decals, fitted to the small but robust VZ chassis designed for flexible setups. The fluorescent yellow ABS chassis provides a vivid foundation that complements the black carbon reinforced Y-spoke wheels. The assembly uses black super hard low-profile tyres stamped with event lettering for a commemorative finish.
The VZ chassis focuses on weight savings while reinforcing high-stress zones such as the bumper and rear stay base for track use. It runs a 3.5:1 gear ratio and includes low friction 620 plastic bearings made from POM to reduce drivetrain losses. The chassis accepts a range of common Mini 4WD upgrades, making it suitable for both static display and competitive tuning.
