The brand new 38T front side component diff crown gear the XB8 is CNC-machined from hardened HUDY steel developed particularly for gears, permitting ultra-true, vibration-free running. All edges are chamfered for smooth engagement. The "38" indication is laser-engraved for effortless recognition, with the bearing dimensions are ground for optimum accuracy. Making use of this gear inside front diff regarding the XB8 alters the apparatus ratio from 3.333 (with 40T original gear) to 3.167.
