42-tooth large bevel gear for center differential is machined from unique HUDY metal item that is specially developed for gear-type things, also hardened and precision ground to suit the tightest restriction calls for for perfect match the diff outdrives. The gears are individually machined on a precision German gear unit and every gear is on their own tested, examined, and run in. The diff gear are laser etched with "Active 42T" for effortless and immediate recognition.
