This 2 pcs bevel gear kit is supplied as SMJ1200 and serves as a direct replacement for AXIAL SMT10 drivetrains. Forged from hardened steel, the gears are intended to take over from worn factory bevels and improve engagement consistency on rock-racing and heavy-duty SMT10 rigs.

The pair contains one front and one rear bevel gear sized to pair with existing gearboxes and bearings. Typical fitting involves removing the old bevels, installing the steel gears with correct mesh and bearing alignment, and rotating the drivetrain to check for smooth movement. These parts keep the original gear ratio and do not change motor gearing requirements.

Tuning advice: double-check pinion to spur alignment, inspect bearings and hex adapters for wear, and apply a light coating of gear-safe lubricant to mating surfaces to reduce initial wear. Carry out routine inspections for signs of wear or pitting.
