The thicker chassis alters the maneuvering characteristics of NT1; the increased rigidity improves handling on high-traction areas and makes the NT1 more reactive. Another significant advantage will be the undeniable fact that thicker framework concentrates the body fat inside the cheapest CG element of the car – within the chassis – which decreases the necessity to install extra lots to help keep the NT1 within fat restrictions.
