Precision Chassis Engineering for the XB8'16

The XRAY 351110 XB8'16 Aluminum Chassis raises handling fidelity for demanding track use. Constructed from Swiss 7075 T6, the plate offers a high strength-to-weight ratio. The front area is narrowed to increase steering bite while the rear section is broadened to stabilise the car. A 4mm shorter overall length aids in achieving better balance and more predictable handling.

Engineered Flex and Low CG

All panels are CNC-machined to remove excess material where not needed, lowering the center of gravity and tuning flex characteristics for better cornering behavior. Note that the hard-coating process on Swiss 7075 T6 can produce fine surface cracks; these are cosmetic and do not impair structural performance.

Clean the mounting surfaces and confirm all screw holes align with your XB8'16 components. Fit #351159 XB8 Composite Chassis Side Guards L+R where required before final assembly.
The hard anodize is thin and generally does not alter fit. If tolerance is critical, check clearances and deburr any high spots before final mounting.
Keep the chassis free of grit and inspect for deep gouges after heavy use. Cosmetic surface cracks do not require repair and will not affect reliability.
