Track-Focused 3mm Alloy Chassis

Built for dedicated RC drivers, the XRAY 351130 GT Aluminum Chassis upgrades the GTX8 with a race-oriented 3mm Swiss 7075 T6 plate. CNC machining removes excess material in non-critical regions to trim mass without sacrificing key support areas. That fine-tunes the centre of gravity and chassis flex for improved lap consistency on demanding circuits.

Alloy Quality and Finish Notes

The use of Swiss 7075 T6 guarantees high rigidity under load. The hard anodising stage can occasionally produce small surface crack patterns; these are cosmetic and do not impact performance or reliability. Such marks are inherent to the alloy and machining process rather than defects.

Can I use this chassis on older GTX8 shells?

It is designed for the GTX8 platform as specified. Older shells may require investigation of mounting hole alignment before fitting.

Should I be worried about anodise cracking?

No. Minor cracking seen in the surface finish is cosmetic only and will not affect chassis behaviour or life span under normal use.

What setup changes are common after fitting?

Expect subtle shifts in handling. Rebalance ride height, check swaybar rates and tweak shock settings to suit the new stiffness and mass distribution.
