Track-Ready XRAY 361101 Aluminum Chassis

Crafted from 2.0mm Swiss 7075 T6 and CNC machined, the XRAY 361101 chassis provides a well judged balance of stiffness and weight for Vintage XB Series cars. The countersunk holes keep bodywork clearance neat while giving a tidy, professional appearance.

Controlled Flex for Better Handling

The chassis uses XRAY Multi-Flex principles by combining an aluminium backbone with a composite chassis plate. That mix keeps lateral rigidity high while allowing measured torsional movement along the length to help with turn-in and mid-corner feel.

What to Expect from the Alloy

7075 T6 alloy is selected for strength and rigidity. Hardcoating can create tiny surface cracks around openings or machined edges; these are cosmetic and do not shorten service life. Slight lengthwise bend from the machining process is common and not a fault.

Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.

Is this ready to bolt into my Vintage XB car?

Yes, the mounting pattern matches Vintage XB Series layouts; hardware may be reused from the original chassis.

Do the manufacturing marks need attention before fitting?

Light deburring around edges and a clean wipe will prepare the part. Leave small hardcoat surface marks alone as they are normal and not structural.

Will this change my car's balance?

Switching to a metal chassis can alter chassis flex and weight distribution; expect slightly crisper steering and adjust droop and anti-roll as needed for setup.

Can I anodise this chassis for a different look?

Hardcoating or anodising must be done by experienced shops. Any finish should be specified to avoid affecting mounting tolerances; consult your local finishers.
