The XRAY 361102 aluminium chassis is a finely machined 2mm plate suited to earlier XB chassis layouts. Built from Swiss 7075 T6 and CNC-cut, it aims to preserve structural integrity while improving balance. Countersunk fixings keep the bottom surface flush to reduce turbulence and improve airflow under the car.

Careful pocketing in non-critical areas trims excess weight while maintaining core stiffness, supplying a more responsive feel on corner entry and exit. A hardcoated finish improves scratch and wear resistance, helping the chassis stand up to repeated use.

What to Expect From the Material

7075 T6 is a stiff alloy and may show small cracks around cutouts or along edges after hardcoating due to material stresses; these are common and do not affect operational strength. Slight lengthwise bends can occur through machining and handling, and are considered normal without impact on fit or function.
