The XRAY X1'20 2.0mm Aluminum Flex Chassis is engineered for racers who want controlled flex and improved mechanical grip. Produced from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, the plate features planned cutouts that tune flex characteristics for medium to high-traction layouts, improving turn-in and mid-corner stability.

Key Handling Advantages

Proven in race testing, this narrow chassis profile reduces scraping during tight cornering, letting drivers maintain higher corner speed. A composite battery backstop slot gives about 5mm of battery placement adjustment, handy when aligning batteries across the chassis for balance tweaks.

Setup Flexibility and Compatibility

Wheelbase tuning is straightforward with three settings: standard, +4mm and -4mm, enabling adjustments to suit different circuits and grip levels. The chassis is compatible with the #371158 aluminum rear pod plate for a clean retrofit into X1'20 cars.

Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
While optimised for medium to high grip, you can run it on low-grip surfaces but you may need to adjust suspension and ride height to reduce sensitivity.
The battery backstop slot allows about 5mm of fore-aft movement, which helps with balance and centre of gravity tuning without compromising battery security.
No major modifications are needed if you use the matching #371158 aluminum rear pod plate; the chassis was designed for direct compatibility.
